Averi started the "Octopus" level swim class in January! She has enjoyed this level because she began doing a lot of new skills. She jumps into the pool, and she is learning to come up above water, float on her back, and then turn to swim to the side of the pool.
She can also swim almost across the width of the pool by herself underwater. Other skills she is working on is turning her head to take breathes, swimming on her back, and going to fetch rings from the bottom of the pool. She will probably be on the "Octopus" level for a while longer, but she is making progress!
